The Tie Rod Protection Device guarantees the protection of the safety tie rod on the switches of the Italian railway network.

The protection of the first shunting point of the electromechanical and hydraulic turnout stop systems is used to protect the safety tie-rod from possible impacts caused by the hanging loads of railway trains.

The device is installed on both traditional and high-speed lines and is available in the following versions:
1) 13-000-00-00 Protection for the safety tie-rod of electromechanical and hydraulic fastening systems for installation on wooden or pre-treated concrete crossbeams without drilling

2) 13-000-01 Protection for the safety tie-rod of electromechanical and hydraulic fastening systems for installation in perforated pre-treated concrete crossbeams

3) 13-000-02 Protection for safety tie-rod of electromechanical and hydraulic systems for installation in specialized pre-treated concrete crossbeams
